How To Read the Commission Levels Chart

The Requirements for Team Earnings is really important.

Each month you have 3 columns you need to qualify in.

1) Personal Q
2) Personal Sales (includes Q's you've sold)
3) Team Sales (includes all your personal sales)

At the end of each month the computer will look at these three categories and pay you based on your totals.

1) Make sure your Q is active to the right amount. Either $50, $100 or $150.

2) Personal sales are those you made at parties. You earn 10% commission on those.

2 a.) Q sales are also included here. (Not your personal Q, but those that you've sold.)
You earn 5% commission on all Q's that are Ongoing. You get paid a higher % for brand new Qs.

For example: In the past 6 months you've signed up 50 Q. They are all for $100 each. That is $5000 in Q sales. That $5000 gets added to your Personal sales for the month.  And you get paid 5% of that in extra commission. These Q are called "Ongoing monthly Earnings."

2 b.) Each month the computer will look to see how many New Activated Q's there are and pay you a higher % the first month they are activated. (See Chart on below).

For example: You set up 5 Q's for $100 each, that are brand new this month. That is $500 in Q sales. $500 gets added to your Personal Sales total number.

It's not the 5% commission that you are after with Q sales in the long run, it's the fact that each month the company will take the full value of that customers' Q budget and add it to your Personal and Team sales. This allows you to qualify for higher ranks fast and qualify for commission throughout your 1st, 2nd and 3rd levels. That's what it's all about!

The Q allows you to get paid over and over and over for making one sale!

3) Team sales are calculated for you in your Downline Sales Report on the Consultant Dashboard called "My Office".

3 a) Your personal sales totals are also included in your TEAM SALES! Your are the first member of your team.

3 b) Even if you place an order for yourself for product, it gets added to the bottom line sales number and you get 10% commission on it. (This does not include your personal Q)

Questions that come up often.
Q) Can I reach the mentor rank without a team?
A)Yes, sure!! You are the first member of your team. Everything you do counts toward your team sales too!

Q) Is it wise to build a deep team or a wide team. Meaning, should I put all my recruits on my first level or on my 2nd and 3rd?
A)As you can see from the chart,  you don't qualify for team sales to the 3rd level until you hit Gold Executive. So keep your team close in your first level when you are starting so you benefit the most.

Q)If I have a team, am I taking money from them?
A)Not at all! The company pays each consultant exactly what they owe them for their work. With the left over money, the company will pay you an extra commission for recruiting and training your team.

Q) Why do we get paid a commission for our 1st level as a mentor and not 2nd and 3rd?
A)With research, the company has been able to determine that most mentors will not have a 2nd or 3rd level. It takes a while to build that up. And since they want to pay you the most possible, they put all the team commission into a 1st level; a level most new consultants reach within their first or second month of starting.

Q) What if I qualify on all these columns but at different ranks? Which one do I get paid on?
A) you get paid on the lowest qualifying rank.  So if reach a higher rank and you meet all requirements for team and personal sales but your personal Q wasn't set high enough, you get paid wherever your Q was set that month because it's the lowest qualifying. The company is really great at letting you make up that difference by putting in an extra sales for yourself to help qualify you as much as possible!

Q) What if members in my 3 levels quit? Do I just miss out on commission after all that work?
A) If a downline members Q is not active in any of your 1-3 levels, at commission time all the sales will move up to as close to you as possible. That means you get paid as if there are no gaps in your team. This is called Compression.

Q) Who do I ask if I need help understanding this?
A) Consultant your Training manual, the Consultants Trainings and your Enroller.

Tips:
Be sure to use the Commission Calculator to help you set goals and reach your highest potential. You can find it under "Training Resources" and then click on "Materials"
It does take time and dedication to move up rank, but it isn't impossible.

And work smarter not harder- Grow a team and sign up Q shipments. It will do the most for your bottom line and more quickly too!

Parties are the lifeblood of this company. You need to do them to 1) gain experience with customers, 2) learn about the product, 3) that is where your Q customers and consultants will come from!

How to optimize, update and lock your Q. What do these mean?

This is information on optimizing, updating and locking the Q.

They are all different things.

Optimize means changing your shipments to get as close to the budget as possible.Optimizing will change your shipments to fit the most for your budget according to how your Q is set up. Meaning if you are a consultant and have "updated" your Q to go over budget, optimizing should change your product according to the subtotal so it won't include tax and shipping. If you have not "updated" your Q or you are a regular customer set to go under budget, optimizing should change your product including tax and shipping to fit your budget.

Updating is an option for consultants. A Q that has not been updated will include tax and shipping into the budget where an updated Q will just look at the subtotal.

Lock shipment does mean that the program won't change anything to a Q shipment. There is an exception with price changes. If price changes brings you too far over your budget it can drop out an item so you won't go over. This is determined by how far over your budget the price change takes you and whether your budget is set to o over. The owner of the Q can go in and make changes as well even when the shipment is locked.

Thrive Crew Training Video on Host Benefits!

How to Calculate Host Benefits and Commission for Q orders!

This sometimes gets confusing so here is some info for you.

The Q order at a party is one of the best ways to raise the total sales of your Party!
(The other way is to have customers schedule their own parties)

Lisa $100 Q
Mandy $50 Q
Joe $200 Q

What is the total for the Host Benefits?
$100+ $50+$200 = $350 in party sales.

Q orders are tripled and added to the Host Benefits!

$350 x 3 = $1050 added to the total party sales.

The hostess will ALWAYS get 10% of the party sales (subtotals) in FREE Product

For these 3 Q orders (even if they don't start right away) she will get 10% of $1050 = $105.00 in FREE Product. (She will also qualify for product at half off)

If you are a consultant and are getting the Host Benefits AND the Commission be aware that you get paid differently than the Host Benefits for Commission.

Commission is 5% for Q monthly budgets
                    5% of $100 Q = $5
                    5% of $50 Q = $2.50
                    5% of $200 Q = $10

All together that is $5 + $2.50 + $10 = $17.50

That might not seem like much but remember "You make the sale just ONCE and you get paid every single month for these Q and all the others you've earned as long as they remain active."

Also remember that the computer will go through your Q sales EACH month and find all the brand new ones for the month and pays you even higher than 5%, but just for that first month. See the chart below.

THRIVE Q Sales
for 1 month
1st month
earnings
Ongoing
monthly
earnings
$0 - $39920%5% →
$400 - $79922%5% →
$800 - $1,19924%5% →
$1,200 - $1,99926%5% →
$2,000 - $2,99928%5% →
$3,000 - $3,99930%5% →
$4,000 +32%5% →

You will receive 5% commission each month from those on the THRIVE Q.

The computer will take the Q budget (not the pay out) when figuring out how much money you have in Q sales that month.

These 3 Q's are $350 in Q sale together which means you get 20% of those budgets in commission- $70!!!

Now imagine if you gave 4 parties that month, with $350 in Q sales again!!

That would be $350 x 4 = $1400 in Q sales. You get paid 26% which is $364 in commission that month just off of your Q sales.

Don't forget that also counts as $1400 in personal sales this month.

What about after 6 months?

At this points you have $1400 x 6=$8400 in Q sales which does 2 VERY IMPORTANT THINGS FOR YOU!
1) move up in RANK
2) get paid out deeper on your downline

These are the 2 things you want your Q sales to ACHIEVE For you!!! Don't forget this!!

Q's count as personal sales and TEAM sales! You are really moving up now!

And you made the Q sale just ONCE and you get paid for it month after month!

Even if you didn't make anymore Q sales after those 6 months, you still get paid commission for all your active Q's!

How to Fill out Host Benefits

Go to the consultant dashboard:
www.shelfreliance.com/parties
Click My Business- Consultant

(this is the dashboard!)
  • Click ORDERS
  • Click HOST BENEFIT
  • Choose the EVENT/PARTY that you would like to close
(Closing a party means filling it out the host benefit. Once the party is closed you cannot add more orders to it)

The Host Benefit Page will open.

  • You will see how much you've earned in FREE product. (That number is calculated by taking 10% of the total party sales)
  • And how much you've earned in 50% off product (That number is calculated by reaching $400+ in sales and booking new parties) See Host Benefit Page 2

The first part of this page will say something like: This portion is NOT part of the host benefit etc. it is used to combine shipping.
Just hit NEXT

The section is used for a hostess who wants to order something above and beyond her benefits. We add it to that section so it ships with the host benefits.

  • Now you can choose the product you'd like for FREE and Half OFF by entering the ID number or searching for the item.

The products will automatically fill in but you can change them around.

The best way to get the most for your money is getting the FREE section to ZERO out. So getting as close to the penny as possible. And then putting the rest in the Half off section.

  • At the bottom it will total your free and half off, tax and shipping.

  • Just hit next when you are done and enter billing and shipping information.

 This is the host benefits.

If at anytime you need some extra product but you are not the hostess, you can 1 of 2 things

1) click orders and click Party supply benefit (this gives you product for 50% OFF when you are NOT the hostess)
2) place an order for yourself like you would for any other customer. You get 10% back in commission for that order! Cool!
