"Advertising" in Policies and Procedures
We would like to bring some attention to our policy about advertising, section 8.2 of Policies and Procedures. "All consultants shall safegaurd and promote the good reputation of Shelf Reliance and its products. The marketing and promotion of Shelf Reliance, the Shelf Reliance opportunity, the Compensation plan, and Shelf Reliance products and services shall be consistent with the public interest, and must avoid all discourteous, deceptive, misleading, unethical or immoral conduct or practices... This includes adding individual's email account information to your customer list to send out newsletters and inforamtion without their permission. This also includes the mention of other businesses which carry Shelf Reliance products in print or blog, their specific products including prices, pictures, website links, and/or comparison to your prices... Thank you!

Shelf Reliance Event Opportunity – Denver, Colorado
National Self Reliance Expo
September 16-17, 2011
National Western Complex
4655 Humboldt St.
Denver, CO 80216
Shelf Reliance has purchased a booth at this event and is offering shifts to any consultants interested! We fill shifts on a first come first serve basis.
Shelf Reliance will be providing samples and literature to hand out at the event. We recommend you bring a business card or sticky label to attach to items that you hand out.
We ask that you obtain a food handler’s permit for your county. Please bring this certificate to the event. An official at the event may ask for it and if you do not have it, you may be asked to leave. Usually food handler’s permits can be purchased online with an online test. A food handler’s permit is a good idea for any public event that you hand out samples at.
We will be charging $50 per day. Please email events@shelfreliance.com by August 30th with your preferred shifts. There will be a maximum of three consultants per shift. The sooner you email us, the more likely you will get a shift or possibly more shifts.
We involve as many consultants as possible and then go back through the list to add more shifts.
This is a great opportunity to take orders and get leads! On September 2nd you will be notified by email which shift(s) we were able to schedule you for.

What's better than a Canadian Wunderbar?
These 2 amazing people! We are really excited to be working with Sandy and Wade in Canada. They are the business owners of "incaseof.com." They've been Shelf Reliance's official distributors for over 3 years and have a lot of experience. We are thrilled to be working with them.
We are still waiting on Canada officials to approve some last minute changes to then make Canada official in selling Shelf Reliance products! It should be "any time" now we are told!
We can't wait for it to open and see what happens there!
If you are interested in signing up as a consultant and you live in Canada, you can still sign up at www.shelfreliance.com/parties. You will be given your consultant number right away.
Once we are open in Canada, only a few provinces will be open at a time. But all should follow suit quickly after. Once we have some open provinces, any consultant can start selling to any open province.
Email us if you have questions. Canada at thrivecrew dot com.

Missing Emails?
Consultants, we would like to know if you are not getting the Call Reminders, Call Notes, Q-Pon, Newsletter, etc. and if you should be. Please email adrianne@shelfreliance.com if you are experiencing this issue. Be specific about which emails you are receiving, if any, and which email address they should be going to. We are trying to get this issue resolved.
Q-Pon email goes out the beginning of each month. Call Reminders go out Monday of every week. Call Notes are usually every week as well (although it has been sparse the last month). We have sent emails about our new Buckets & Products, about our move, etc.
Update information on the Q
When cases, 6 packs, or items that are more than your budget come up on a Q shipment, it will increase the budget. The Q tries to put a case in a shipment and will increase the shipment's budget to do so and will notify you. If the Q only has cases to choose from, the Q budget can go way over.
The Optimize option makes it so that the tax and shipping charges can be factored into shipment budgets. The Optimize option re-shuffles the shipments and changes what you had set the shipments up as. So after starting a Q, you will need to customize the shipments yourself or else un-check this option. The Optimize option will change shipments that you have customized.
