How to Fill out Host Benefits

Go to the consultant dashboard:
www.shelfreliance.com/parties
Click My Business- Consultant

(this is the dashboard!)
  • Click ORDERS
  • Click HOST BENEFIT
  • Choose the EVENT/PARTY that you would like to close
(Closing a party means filling it out the host benefit. Once the party is closed you cannot add more orders to it)

The Host Benefit Page will open.

  • You will see how much you've earned in FREE product. (That number is calculated by taking 10% of the total party sales)
  • And how much you've earned in 50% off product (That number is calculated by reaching $400+ in sales and booking new parties) See Host Benefit Page 2

The first part of this page will say something like: This portion is NOT part of the host benefit etc. it is used to combine shipping.
Just hit NEXT

The section is used for a hostess who wants to order something above and beyond her benefits. We add it to that section so it ships with the host benefits.

  • Now you can choose the product you'd like for FREE and Half OFF by entering the ID number or searching for the item.

The products will automatically fill in but you can change them around.

The best way to get the most for your money is getting the FREE section to ZERO out. So getting as close to the penny as possible. And then putting the rest in the Half off section.

  • At the bottom it will total your free and half off, tax and shipping.

  • Just hit next when you are done and enter billing and shipping information.

 This is the host benefits.

If at anytime you need some extra product but you are not the hostess, you can 1 of 2 things

1) click orders and click Party supply benefit (this gives you product for 50% OFF when you are NOT the hostess)
2) place an order for yourself like you would for any other customer. You get 10% back in commission for that order! Cool!

How to optimize, update and lock your Q.

This is information on optimizing, updating and locking the Q.

They are all different things.

Optimize means changing your shipments to get as close to the budget as possible.Optimizing will change your shipments to fit the most for your budget according to how your Q is set up. Meaning if you are a consultant and have "updated" your Q to go over budget, optimizing should change your product according to the subtotal so it won't include tax and shipping. If you have not "updated" your Q or you are a regular customer set to go under budget, optimizing should change your product including tax and shipping to fit your budget.

Updating is an option for consultants. A Q that has not been updated will include tax and shipping into the budget where an updated Q will just look at the subtotal.

Lock shipment does mean that the program won't change anything to a Q shipment. There is an exception with price changes. If price changes brings you too far over your budget it can drop out an item so you won't go over. This is determined by how far over your budget the price change takes you and whether your budget is set to o over. The owner of the Q can go in and make changes as well even when the shipment is locked.
